§ 250.020. Agency — Created; Membership.

A.
Created. There is hereby created the local organization, the Central Jackson County Emergency Management Agency, for the preparation and the carrying out of all the emergency functions other than functions for which the military forces are primarily responsible, to minimize and repair injury and damage resulting from disaster as defined in Chapter 44, RSMo., Civil Defense.

B.
Membership. This Agency shall consist of a Director and other additional coordinating committee members to be selected by the member cities in order to conform to the State Emergency Management Agency and procedures for the conduct of emergency operations as outlined in said Chapter 44.
