§ 390.100. Alternative Permit.

  • The Chief of Police or their designated agent, in denying an application for a parade, street fair, concert, show, demonstration, festival or exhibition permit, shall be empowered to authorize the conduct of a parade, street fair, concert, show, demonstration, festival or exhibition on a date, at a time, on or over a route different from that named by the applicant, or at any location different from that named by the applicant. An applicant desiring to accept an alternate permit shall, within five (5) days after notice of the action of the Chief of Police or their designated agent, file a written notice of acceptance with the Chief of Police or their designated agent. An alternate parade, street fair, concert, show, demonstration, festival or exhibition permit shall conform to the requirements and shall have the same effect as any other parade, street fair, concert, show, demonstration, festival or exhibition permit issued under this Chapter.
